Called a local shop about a front end alignment. They want to know if I
wanted a four wheel alignment on my two wheel drive Vanagon. I didn't
know about this so couldn't answer.

Question:  On a Vanagon GL - what is a four wheel alignment  vs a two
wheel alignment. Is it really necessary.? I'm not even sure what a four
wheel alignment is.
