The rear suspension and wheels are alignable on a Vanagon just like the front.

there's toe and camber in the rear, no castor of course. 'usually' the rear alignment is assumed to be OK.. and ... ...........look in your Bentley manual.

if it's not too much more expense *and you trust them* ....having both ends done would be better.

Usually any vehicle with inedpendent rear suspension has some adjustability , and thus alignment. How many wheels are drivin doesn't have anything to do with it actaull, it's suspension type.
