84 Westy 1.9L, no fuel pump running nor FI spray at start up, engine turns over nicely.
Update: not much
I continue to try the recommendations from the group, etc., thank you for much for your ideas. I am learning loads.
Still no light from the NOID, despite jumpering both ECU and FP relays (at the same time).
I did get the remote starter set up and working (well turning the engine over, but no start).
I cleaned the ground leads and surfaces at the head and left rear inside panel.
I am running voltages, ohms, continuity from the ECU connector from instructions in Bentley, tech sheets, and recommendations from one of our trusted suppliers (in South Jersey), but I fear that my skill/knowledge is suspect and, though I'm getting predicted readings, etc., I may not be insightful enough to see the root cause that may be staring me in the face. I'd like to experience the thrill of figuring this thing out, but have scheduled a tow to the mechanic on Monday - so I'll have the weekend...
I think that I'll check that D15 connector, as well. I haven't replaced the ignition switch nor the Temp II sensor yet. I would like to definitively isolate the root cause, first.
Regards,
Skip
