I have a friend who is hell bent on finding a hightop roof to put on his van. Up here in the PNW there was an outfit making hightops that were not the worst looking around. They had the name "Get-Away Van". I think the company is no longer in business, but you see the tops on vans once in a while (mostly aircooled or early watercooled).

Would be nice to find a wrecked van with intact top, but we have on found running vans so far. I wonder if any listmembers know of one of those tops for sale, or even if anyone knows if the mold is still around.
