The early ones are simply bolts in the side of the tank. These are the wands with reed switches (not relays) and floating magnet. I had some discussion with them before they started assembling about providing proper strain relief for the component leads as well as better sealing, and I believe these will be at least somewhat more robust than the originals, especially as regards slight bending of the tube.
