Thank you for your continued counsel.
'84 Westy 1.9L
So I bought the NOID at my local FLAPS. No light at the first FI I tested. Hmm...
I retested pins 7 & 25 for ground and I would like to suggest that I've had ground all along. Here me this: when I connect 7 & 25 my ohmmeter reads 22 ohms. When connect 7 alone and then to ground, or 25 to ground, or ground to ground I get 22 ohms. So maybe my ohmmeter (or more likely me) is not reading/doing things correctly. Anyway, I checked my grounds thoroughly and I think my grounds are well grounded.
So I'm somewhat back to square one. No FP at start. No NOID light at start. The FP relay 30/87 is not being powered. Pin 85 on the FP relay has voltage.
Any other ideas before I call for a tow?
Thank you,
Skip
