Well, I don't have a free lunch spot to share, but I did take the time to call my father and get his Army story today. He never talks about it. He is technically a WWII Army vet as he was stationed in the Army Occupation of Japan, after hostilities had ended and before a treaty had been signed. Enlisted 9/17/46 and discharged as Private 1st Class 2/7/48. Joined the Army reserves, promoted to a 2nd Lieutenant and used the GI Bill to get a B.A. at Yale. All of these stories are worth listening to and my thanks to all of you who have served. I learned something today.
