I have in the past found exhaust bits in like new condition used for good
prices. It just pays to be patient. For example the exhaust on my rust free
syncro from the west coast is most certainly original to the vehicle, and
"perfect" is how I would describe it.
There may not be any good used exhausts in PA, but they do exist.
In the rust belt that may be the one job i'd rather do twice as often.
Though it sucks, if doing it twice as often means having bolts come out
with just rusty heads (and then replacing the bolts) as opposed to having
bolts and studs break off....
I'd definitely rather do it twice as often! Exhausts are a serious pain
when stuff breaks, and only an inconvenience when things work.
