Sta-bil in the gas for sure. Depending on where you are .. some people find mice or other animals getting into their stored rigs.. They can do extreme damage ...like chew on wires, make nests in the dash, etc. I always put one of those small yellow boxes of mice poison in the van.

And check it now and then. I just found a mouse nest under the hood of my turbo volvo sedan after lettting it sit for only 3 and 1/2 weeks.

if it's a breathable cover..and all the good ones are .. that's good. Ventilation is very important. I'd probalby leave the front windows down half an inch.

I wouldn't bothter to put in on blocks. Or take the tires off .. unless they are exposed to strong sun, ozone, or theft . If anything I'd take off the good wheels/tires and put ordinary spare old used ones ..of which I have many. That's what I would consider ideal .....crummy tires and wheels on, and don't put it on blocks.

My syncro will be sitting the winter, likely without it's engine and transmission in it. Any advice on how to let it sit? I will be parking it on a concrete slab outside. Should it be up on blocks with the wheels off? I have a car cover for it, is a car cover just going to hold in moisture? Windows open?

Obviously battery out and stabil in the fuel tank.

Any thoughts?

-Craig
