You can't get it out because you can't get hold of it? Or there is something else that holds it back. Usually the left side cable is in the way, but sometimes the ground cable is. It does come out, just as it went in there. If you can't get hold of it by hand, you need to find a strap that can be attached to the terminals or attach something to them, so you can pull it up and wiggle it out. Yes, it's a little close to tight but it will come out just fine. Zoltan

You may have to get some battery terminal straps from your flaps, so that you have lifting power, without having to fit your hands down the sides between the battery and hole.
