RE: Overnight at Walmart This is a common and frequent topic on the various RV and RV fulltimers forums. Walmart policy varies from store to store and town to town. No parking in many towns where the locals have outlawed it, usually because of pressure from commercial RV parks that think they are loosing business. Other have banned overnight parking because of abuses by campers. And at least one or two because the neighborhood has become to dangerous. There are many sites on the Internet listing stay/no stay Walmarts and even iPhone and Android apps for those listing. And the protocol remains the same, go in and ask the manager if it's okay even if there are others already parked. And buy something. |
