Some, those that have been abused by lame-o "campers" who set up lawn chairs and pull out the barbie in the lot, sometimes even while the store is wide open for business, those ones sometimes put up signs.....Bigger problem around large cities now a days with the growing population of homeless auto-dwellers... What is it with people, anyhow? The store in Bend, Oregon is often 'camped-out' by big old motorhomes when I pass by there...it has a pretty small parking area and there are often 20 or more big MoHos in there, taking up lots of room. You'd think if you have the cash to gas up a motorcoach you could also go to an RV park with it....Cracks me up to see a $500K Prevost...boondocking free in Wal Mart....the rig is probably worth more than the yearly combined salaries of all the store's employees.... I don't think Mall Wort has ever 'encouraged' overnighting in their lots, but they've tolerated it. I do, if I overnight in one, which I sometimes do when I am on a "power-drive" on the interstates, always try to go inside and buy something I need....payback of a sort for the parking. |
