Not specific to Vanagons only...by Friday next, I will have forgotten, so I post now...

Re Hot springs. Tecopa HS is on the way from DV to S of Las Vegas... also, I was looking for a site we used once called 'soaknet' with a full listing by state of every known hotsprings, with GPS coordinates, and a brief description of each spring...water temp, flow, improvements on site, etc etc...That one seems to be 'sporadic' online, but I found this one with listings by state...

We once had an excellent winter camping adventure following GPS and dipping in hotsprings using our dirtbikes, but most viable (Soakworthy?) H.S.s could have been reached with a Vanagon, and many would have made decent campsites... Don Hanson
