Hello Tony:
Thank you for your help. Gas tank and filter were new is past two months. When
I disconnected downstream end of filter, plenty of gasoline flowed out.
Opened AFM with your helpful suggestion. Wiper had cut two heavy groves in the
track, but contact was probably still there as measured by cheap digital VOM. I
have bent the wiper but still need to check out. Known good AFM due in Friday
morning. This still does not preclude loose connection in line to ECU. Do you
have a pin-out chart to show pins from AFM at connector to ECU?
Thank you again,
John

John that bad boy is just glued on... try sticking a blade and pry it open with
a twisting motion. also have something in hand duck tape or the like to replace
it back down when you are done....by the way did this start happening when the
tank was low?
I would suspect crud in the lines before the AFM so check and replace the square
filter while you wait...The crud may actually be in the tank....my road
soliution to that is low air blow bak into the tank (gas cap off) to reposition
the crud away from the pick up screen in the tank
Good luck,
Tony
