I spent more time on I-95 in Virginia yesterday than I cared to, but, also, not in my Vanagon. Taking my daughter back to school in Newport News from N. Virginia. I like for these to be high speed runs, usually trying to cruise at 80, so I rent a car. However, yesterday I might as well have been in the Vanagon, average speed down: less than 40 mph, a little over 5 hours to go just 200 miles. Return trip wasn't much better. We left N. Virginia at 9:15 am and I returned at 8:30 pm-NOT a fun day on the road!! Now, once I do that Bostig conversion....
