That state of tune will do a great job of creating that smog producing NOx. That torque on that size engine can possibly make for a short life. Holes in pistons, cylinder wall, and rod failures, etc.

With minor mods to the tdi and te old one wire injection pump juiced up too I should be able to get 200-300 ftlbs torque and keep about 20-25 mpg pulling probably 30+ not pulling and the simplicity of a one wire pump!
