Before you call it quits,  gently rub the eraser from a pretty new with supple rubber #2 wooden pencil across the matching contacts on the blue electrical flexstrip.  Little round circles and up and down strokes.  And then with a Q-tip soaked with rubbing alcohol, super gently go over the matching contacts on the LCD glass itself.  Gently, gently.  And then very, very gently rub with a clean cloth.  Put it all back together.  Now, it just might work.  There really is nothing to go wrong with an LCD unless you break it; just electricity in and out and of course the brains in the computer behind it...there's the "rub"...get it!!!

Anywhoo, that's how I fixed mine with intermittent segments.

Dear List,

Sometime back I thought someone posted an address where we could buy replacement LCD clocks - or perchance am I dreaming?  If whoever it was (or wasn't) could post it (or not)M gain - I would be grateful.

Still full of turkey, maybe I will turn into one.  Gobble Gobble.
