        No I'd run to an auto , they'd not fail like a stick does . Though I would replace the cooler  .
       As far as the A/C , it is not needed to run so it gets pushed to the to do pile , and never happens . It is generally about $500.00 -$700.00 to fix  and does a decent job in a passenger van . 
        Just don't buy it and think it will be as reliable as my Toyota . 

           I drive mine everyday , generally 400-600 miles week . It always gets me home , well almost always .
