How does the clutch pedal feel? It *could* just be a hydraulic issue.

You can have someone pump the clutch while you watch at the slave cylinder to check that its moving 1-1 with the clutch pedal.

Maybe it just needs to be bled.

(Even before checking at the slave cylinder, you might take a gander a the fluid level under the instrument cluster.)
