re given the predilection for Vanagon buyers to overpay for what they get. '

How do you figure that ? ( I know....just bustin' on ya a little. )

Most of the ones I get .. usually dead, often for 'engine' .. often are very UNrusted, not many dings, and ...........$ 500 max.

And I would say I have seen some pretty 'fancy' prices on Vanagons . particularly Westy's where it was 'supposed to be a fully sorted out 'near perfect' Westy .. when they were actually truly a few thousand dollars down on things they really needed.

so yes..in that light .. people are overpaying sometimes..

With truly smart sellers and buyers though, that doesn't have to happen.
