Well - I purchased a van through a list member this year (Scott/Turbovans) and was very pleased with what I received for the money. The van was exactly as described, almost rust free, dent free and needed heads. I will say I paid NOT crazy money either. I feel I paid less than "market value" but closer how much these vans should be going for. Anyone who ever wants to buy a van from Scott - I will vouch for him. Straight up guy, delivered as promised.

Think of it this way, if you have your house listed for sale, and you want top dollar, when a prospective buyer comes to look at it, are you going to have dirty dishes in the sink? Laundry laying on the floor? Toilets black and skanky looking? I'd hope not. Same with a car, a little work and few dollars can go a long way in making it more presentable. I've looked at used cars where there are fossilized french fries under the seats, crumbs on the dash and console, etc., and to me this says a lot about the seller and how they took care of it. If they couldn't even make a slight effort to clean it...well, I'm not buying it. But, not to worry, it's not like I lay awake at night worrying about these things!
