Does the Syncro have a different core than non-syncros? If so, then read no further... I asked this question before I did mine last year. I believe the core that will fit is like an '89 Ford Taurus or something though its about half the size. Most suggested though that saving a few hundred dollars when you're looking at a days worth of labor is not a good idea. I just went ahead and bought a new core.
