My 90Westy does not have an InsideRearHatchRelease. To open the R'Hatch on mine the FrontDoors need to be unlocked & the R'Hatch Lock KeySlot needs to be in the Horizontal position, then it can be opened with or without the key just by pushing the button. This makes the RemoteLockingSystem that I have even more useful in that by leaving the R'Hatch Lock Horizontal I can Lock & Unlock it just by using the Remote to Lock or Unlock the FrontDoors. You might want to check form the inside to be sure something isn't stuck in the door jam preventing it from closing all the way as that might prevent it from being unlocked. ORR ~ DeanB

Anyone ever see one on any other models or years? |
