My fear! A lot to consider - or reconsider! Seems my engine is holding out really great except for a few - huh, routine maintenance issues. Sometimes breaking down away from home is a good thing. New perspective or eyes. Each problem with the auto trans occurred after a road trip & towing 1200 lbs. That shouldn't be a problem eh? Been thinking about asking what the max towing capacity for an 83 Westy with a 1.9L waterboxer & auto trans. Stops it just fine. tom
