I just got some keys from Steve Sandlin, a locksmith, from the code on my door lock. Amazing how worn my original keys were - all teeth and the tip are round - they're sharp and crisp on the new one. The door handle is pretty easy to remove and the code is on the lock barrel. If the key is a problem in the ignition you probably want to get them cut from the code rather then copy the worn key you have - you'll likely have the same problem. Oddly enough, the passenger door is keyed differently and after removing a couple of tumblers/plates I was able to get the worn key to work with it.

Steve has been professional and friendly and i'm having some triumph spitfire keys made by him now too.
