I too get less heat from my front heater than from the rear. I have flushed the cooling system, taken the heater core out and flushed that aggressively, and I have insulated the heater hoses. Still not as hot as *I think* it should be.

So I came to 3 possible conclusions:

- heater core is not 100%, deposits, partially clogged, whatever. Despite my fluoric acid wash :) - restrictor in feed to rear heater missing, thus rear heater is hogging the heat - it's just the nature of the beast

Now that it is getting chilly, I think I'll play around with the valve on the rear heater to see just how much difference it makes on the heat to the front, to occlude the flow to rear heater.

I recently took the power pack (engine and tranny) out of the vehicle to fix a tranny problem. Could there be air in the heater radiator? If yes, what’s the best way to get rid of it? Or do I need a new rad? > Best regards. > Gilles Turmel
