That connecter is one of the round ones in the black box in the left front corner of the engine compartment.

I'm trying to track down electrical fault in rear defogger, '86 syncro ( early prod. before the vin change as noted in bentley). I've repaired weak spot in rubber boot up at hatch hinge, and I have ascertained that power is leaving the switch at dash. But no power at the grid.

I can't find the connecter T1a that is part of circuit from switch to grid. Bentley says it is in the left side of engine compartment, but having no luck finding it (supposed to have black wire in and out)

Can anyone give me a hint to where it is? Tucked under something back there?

thanks

alistair
