Subject:   Need westy camper drain plug/basket

I'm still using a rubber plug in the drain of my westy sink and I hate it. I asked on these lists about two years ago for a replacement, and somebody hooked me up with a replacement of new manufacture. The quality of the setup was very low by Westy standards, a lot of bulky plastic with plastic chrome, and a basket that was mechanically compatible only with the drain insert, neither of which was satisfactory. The kind of thing you would put into a camper in hopes of a quick sale. So, I've been suffering along with the rubber plug ever since. It would be so nice to whisk food scraps from the basket to the trash instead of fishing for them in the sink drain with a fork like an Inuit hovering over an ice floe with a spear, waiting for his catch to appear.

I would like one of the stainless steel baskets that came with the westy sink originally. I don't want to go to a camper store and buy something that almost fits or almost works with the original westy sink drain.

Anyone?

Thanks,

Jim
