as I just commented . notice how much the front axle weight goes up as you put stuff in the middle of a 2WD.

I had my 85 Wolfsburg Weekender packed very deep with old growth very heavy 2 X 12's I scored from a remodel of a 90 year old building .. I happened to stop at some scales.. same as Gary reported .. huge increase on the front axle, and less, proportionally speaking on the rear. ...or at least that impression.
