You have also gotten most of the above info in the 'welcome message' from the Listserv.

You might consider anything that is not directly Vanagon related to be akin to a cookie recipe as noted. It belongs to some culinary discussion group and not the Vanagon List. However, realizing that listmembers will want to occasionally swap cooking tips or the newest dance steps for the next Vanagon get-together. The result is our own version of carnivale. Off topic discussions (supposedly still related to Vanagons) are tolerated on Fridays. The Splitties (Type 2 T1) and Baywindow/Loaf busses (Type 2 T2) have split off on their own forum. You are also less likely to find much discussions here about the Eurovans (Type 2 T4). That leaves our beloved Bricks/Wedge aka Vanagon. The venerable Type 2 T3.
