One beautiful sunny Summer day, I arrived at the Osoyoos B.C. border
crossing. I heard and saw 2 U.S. customs officers joking back/forth
from their booths. "How neat"  I thought.  "Seem like fun people for a
change" I further thought as I rolled up to the window.

She: "what do you do for a living?"
A. "Musician"
Q. When's your next gig?
Q. (me not hearing her) Pardon?
Q. When's your next musical engagement?
A. (me in a happy almost humorous manner) December. I'm playing White
Christmas. It's a great show. You should come see it!
A. I don't get out much. Please place this sticker on your windshield.....

Off I went to secondary inspection. Nothing to hide of course, no big
deal, but a waste of time. Further more, I had to remind the employee
to give my wallet back to me. But wait. There's more!

As another employee leads me back to my Westy:

Q. Do you do a lot of work on your van?
Q. (me not sure why I'm asked this as I know the inspection is
finished) Are you asking as a border official?
A. No. Just saw the 2 huge manuals (Bentleys). Was wondering how much
work these things need. Am thinking of buying a camper van.
