You might even try completely taking the rod from the AT out of the equation by disconnecting it to make sure it's not interfering with the throttle operation. (yes that e-clip will fly) Then reattach it when you've got that sorted out. on my 86 w/ AT, I have a little intermittent trouble with the idle switch not being activated when the throttle is closed due to up and down play in the throttle shaft. Your 1.9 has a different set up with the switch but may be causing some of your problem. Edward
