I have the same problem with my 91 Auto! (2.1) Was real bad a couple of weeks ago and I barely made it home. Now, like you say, it's just after I leave in the am and it's headed up hill I just let it balance it's self out and after it picks back up no problems the rest of the day? I have a spare AFM and will install it tomorrow. JC...
