NO NO NO NO. Do not use a garden hose cap, because the cap threads
are SAE and will ruin the fresh water drain pipe! Use the right cap.
The pipe thread is 34 or 35mm

Originals use to go for over $25, so $11.50 is a great price for the RIGHT cap.
FWIW Mine just happens to be 34mm
You can use the garden hose cap on the waste water drain from the sink however.
