Joy, I've had Zerex in my Van for almost a year now with no coolant probs. had a leak develop from an expired clamp but, I digress. at the time funding was tight for all three vehicles and Zerex was actually the lowest price and coincidentally aluminum friendly. 80 Benz 300TD , 84 Audi Coupe GT , 85 Vanagon are at mid-gauge high point after hours of run time.    drive happy           mike

The "dex-cool" type is what my mechanic recommended - he said it didn't matter which brand.  Zerex seems to be a brand name for Valvoline, applied to a number of different products.  Any idea whether people are using all Zerex products, or just the "Dex-cool" variant?
