New valve? I know they changed the valve requirements for portable propane bottles like the type you use with a bbq but a built in RV propane tank is a different beast. The RV propane tank has different rules and requirements.

Did they change the requirements for RV propane tanks & valves & i never heard about it? I have had no problems filling the built in RV tank that came with my '84 camper, well once the propane people couldn't find their extension to get to my valve & I had to go somewhere else but that nothing to do with a "wrong" valve.
