Well, as a telephone technician with 33 years experience (when I started my boss would not let us use zip ties, we had to lace the cables in with wax string!) I've only really seen them fail when exposed to UV light. Hidden away in a dark box for years good quality ones would probably be OK. Jeff Stewart ----- Original Message -----
