Hey all,
I just spoke to the owner. She does not know anything about Vanagons...but she did confirm this. The fuel door is by the front door, not in the rear. Hence, this is not a syncro...

shoot,
can't figure or find out what BFE means.
it is a very straight shot on I-80 from Sacto to Salt Lake for sure.
I have a super nice route across Nevada on all good, empty, 2 lane roads..
leave I-80 about 40 miles east of Winnemucca ..
nice drive to St. George from there..
gorgeous country.
Gets you Zion and then North Rim of the Grand Canyon ..kinda all just fits
together.
real nice drive.
if it was local to me I'd have to get it at this price of course.
hey ...
I have 6 2WD vanagons for sale ..
like to trade ..
My vanagon tow vehicle is 'resting' right now though.
and one of these days..
a car hauler trailer , sure would be nice.

Hey Jeff,
LOL!
You must not get out much if youse think we are in BFE!
Way nicer than Sacramento????? & our NBA team isn't as bad as yours?
If you take I-80, it is 150 miles shorter than Hiway 50 & they actually plow
the roads in Nevada & even in BFE Utah!
There are also gambling places & brothels along the way in Nevada that
cater to old guys like youse!
I have already forwarded the link to a friendly vanagon & syncro hunter here
, Thanks for the link Ken, but he's got a syncro just like that one, that he
paid $400-500 for, IIRC. Uses it on deep lite powder days to get up the
Canyon.
YMMV,
Mr. BZ-moving to BFE Maine soon
