Subject: Sad day/new beginnings. PARTS!!!!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Well today I just took the first of the parts off my beloved '85 silver bus. It's been with me for 7 years and was my first car ever. As you all know, it's been a struggle to keep it alive these 7 years and it's what's brought me to you, and for that.... i'm honored. Luckily, this bus will not be junked! It will live on indefinately as housing for seasonal volunteer workers on an organic farm in Harissville PA. The soon to be new owners have enjoyed many great memories with me and this bus over the years and wish to have it as a piece of their land. As such, the bus must remain looking as it does but devoid of mechanical parts.

Hence, the gas tank and parking brake cables were removed today, both for use on my "NEW BUS" which is almost ready to hit the road after 4 years of being parked! The zetec engine and 4speed transmission will also be removed soon and the zetec will be going into my syncro. The radiator and associated cooling system, as well as brake components will be removed for storage. Perfectly good headlights, tail lights, and markers will be replaced with cracked ones. The instrument cluster will be replaced with a broken one, etc etc etc.

As such, I am extending a line to those of you who have parts needs. If you have something you would like off my '85 everything cosmetic is available as long as a semi broken replacement is part of the trade. Everything mechanical that still allows the vehicle to roll is available. (including 4 speed transmission, half shafts, Radiator, Brake Components, etc)(I also have a westy water tank, several rear heaters, and a westy propane tank). The only profits I wish to see off this are enough to offset the cost of trailer rental and gas to relocate this bus to its donated site, so best offer on everything.(Best offers of "Free" may be accepted as well) All other parts will be donated to the Pittsburgh Vanagon Club.

Any part you wish to inquire about, just drop me a line off list.
