Ha! You guys are such pessimists/realists. It may happen. I do have an auxiliary hookup and can hook it to the aux battery and it does have the detachable plate. It seems that the other suggestion, grabbing power off of the key buzzer would have the same potential issue if I leave the key in when camped. No perfect answer.
