Subject: Front Heater wiring
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Ok, I knew things were going to smoothly.

Tore the dash out tonight to replace the leaking front heater core with the one from my old '90

Got it all done in about 2 hours.

Now the problem is there seems to be now power to the blower - I know it worked - the old one worked too (just the core leaked). So we took the entire heater box from a '90 and put it in an '85. So what am I missing? it makes no sense.

I do have some unconnected wires (there were some before I started) - I guess we didn't pay close enough attention (damn). SO does power and ground run to the blower run separate from the wires that attach to the switch?

I'm so confused and disappointed - and my Bentley is not here right now. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am planning on traveling 8 hrs from home to Watertown, NY next week and front heat would be great :)
