Hi to all,
I regularly replace fuel lines, exactly as Scott is describing. With german
fuel lines and flared fuel line clamps. They are not cheap but it's not
time to be cheap when doing it. I also do house calls in the Seattle and
nearby towns to save our precious Vanagons, Westfalias.
Those fuel lines are twenty something years old, gotten hard on top of a hot
engine and some of them are cracked and pissing in the back there and you
would only know it when the fire is out of control. It's a cheap way to
save a car and the stuff inside. Sometimes they get on fire while you shop
and by the time you are back it's a heap of black shell sitting on rims
only. U tube has a few fires like that.
