One would think- after all, the Sony worked that way, but the Dual I replaced it with and hooked up the normal way draws nearly a third of an amp _no matter what_ . That would probably not be a big deal if our bus was driven daily.

I decided on the keys in pocket solution- interrupt power using a rocker switch in the blank position underneath the 4way flasher switch.
