I have looked a many units over the years and have yet to see any unit that does not have selective tuning. The only thing to be careful of is finding a unit that has the kind of selection control you want. By this I mean that if you have a preference for the type of switching mechanism and placement of those mechanisms then you should keep that in mind. I like to go in to various stereo shops to actually see the head unit to see how the buttons work so that I know right there if I like the feel. And as far as radio station selection goes, I want a seek/scan option as well as the most presets possible that are not hard to access. Right now, I still use the factory Heidleberg radio and it does fine for my area as the number of stations I listen to can be counted on one hand. YMMV Steven 91 Westy
