Hi Dennis, Thanks for your response. My Syncro is stock, with 14" wheels and (right now) Hakkapillita 10C studded snow tires. Typically, on the stretch of I-25 I was driving I can maintain between 70 and 80mph. What was "seriously wrong"I was the headwind that the local news said was 40-50mph sustained. One gust was measured at 94mph in Loveland later in the afternoon. We get these Chinook winds off of the mountains a few times each winter, and they can be very exciting. We had to pay attention when we parked to insure the wind didn't catch the doors when we opened them. We has several tractor trailers pushed over on various roads, and a fatality when a 3" tree limb broke free of a tree and came through the windshield of a car in Lyons, impaling the driver. All in all, it was quite a ride, and a day with more excitement than necessary. *Best Regards, Jon*
