Skylights have gone down in price over the last year or so. The ones on the Samba are Chinese made knockoffs. Back when skylights were $100, it might have been worth gambling on a cheap Chinese skylight for $30. But these days you can get a quality skylight for about the same price, so it's really no bargain. We sell Trevor Reid ("The Skylight Guy")'s Canadian made skylight for $39. Trevor is well regarded on the Vanagon List for the quality of his skylights (and is a Vanagon enthusiast and Westy owner himself). The small price difference gets you a significantly better product with a solid reputation.
