Subject: LP regulator got wet/icey
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

I put on a new propane regulator last summer.  They didn't have a cover for it and I didn't get around to getting one.  My mud flap was off the van too, so ice got all over the regulator this winter multiple times, freezing and thawing.  The gas flow is way down (checking flame on stove) during the coldest temps.  When it warms up, the gas flow is back and my propane heater works again.   Did this destroy the regulator, or will it eventually "dry out" and work again if I get a cover and keep the moisture away from it?   Thanks, David
