Dear traveling costs

purchasing a vanagon immediately places the owner into a category of groups that says he is conscious of the price of travel ... a category of groups that also says now that he has his own accommodations and chuckwagon on board ... he can travel anywhere there is terra ferma as cost consciously as he chooses but more to the point .... the message is in the medium as stated ... with his computer he can search the inventory of used book stores the world over and have the item shipped to is door ... likely in a Sprinter ...so he may then continue to build his beautiful vanagon right from the comfort of his own chair in his own house ... so the process as i see it is thus search the internet for a good used vanagon -- carfax the details online -- purchase through email and pay using paypal -- using internet research shipping companies that will pick up and deliver newly acquired vanagon... choose and utilize one paying through paypal or credit card -- while waiting delivery of vanagon use internet to research best insurance available and purchase same online -- also join several vangon dedicated groups with their home and base on the internet ... solicit help after introducing your self as new comer seeking advice and wisdom after vanagon is delivered tell onlne community it looks great in your yard but their are a few issues you need to sort out after you get a bentley ...(which you discovered you needed through discussions online -- after you had paid for the vanagon) -- join roadside assistance group after extensive online vanagon community discussion about the pros and cons of every form of road side assitance ever made availble to mankind ... including one apocryphal tale about some guy in a red bus breaking down on crumbfest eve http://www.peibooks.ca/ChildrensBooks/TheTrueMeaningofCrumbfest.html -- make pals online with someone in the vanagon community who owns etka ripped copy (they send you one) and after hours of research at your computer you discover you need to order lots of parts and some specialized tools ... so you order them after discussions with various people online about the best and worst of vendors ... and in the course of the discussion you discover that every other vanagon owner has at least one half of a parts van in the yard or basement but every other vanagon owner online declares that doing business with any of them is more suspect than any of the vendors who are really only out for themselves and are likely going to rip you off regardless of actual service or customer appreciation order inclusions -- parts arrive and begin to pile up in your shop and garage ... you fill your time watching youtube videos about how to remedy all that ails your vanagon and once you have become fully versed in vanagon language and the differences in parts between years and the various modifications you can make ... you immerse yourself in a blog from quebec and find your self understanding how to repair event he most complicated and broken of vanagons and some guy from the bowels of oregon advises you to grease oil and lubricate parts that you didnt even know were accessible once the vanagon left the production line -- two and a half years pass ..... .... .... .... during which you twice renew insurance online and change vendors once due to online discussion about what awful rotten people exist at your first choice insurance co .... .... .... .... .... and they are rotten because the agent refuses to pay out the 14K$$ in parts with receipts added to the van since purchase after shoping cart scratched vanagon declared totaled -- your significant other is beginning to see notices on facebook about the insignificant others collection of parts and the vanagon in your yard -- your significant other begins to make subtle comments that allude to your children's financial and educational future -- you discover a much nicer and more exotic vehicle while you are online researching something about ethanol and german engineering in a post modern world -- you list your vanagon on graigs list or kijjijji ... with nice photos from any old vanagon brochure of or about the same time (decade) -- sell same and accept pay pal payment -- order that exotic vehicle you saw .... pay with pay pal --

those who are truly dedicated will go the extra step (no no not going out to work on the vanagon) the extra step of putting in storage ) -- you return to your computer (which you have actually yet to leave now that iphone and ipad let you do email etc while in the can ) and send an email to the vanagon group that you are free of the vise of vanagon and wish to no longer receive updates or emails from them (same as telling your best friend you no longer wish to hang around with them because you now have an audi 7309 sq and are no longer interested in volkswagon stuff the way they are) --- regards
