There are a number of approaches to replacing brake lines. If you need a written procedure this may not be a task for you. The best approach is to buy the line, fittings, and clips, and get the bubble flare tool and a bender to make your own. The coated stuff from VW and their fittings work well. You can get other materials including stainless. You can also remove the lines and measure them and get pre-flared pieces at the local parts stores. Be sure to paint-coat these after installation. You may end up doing some splices as some of the lines go up to the master cylinder. Get the proper couplers.
