I ran mine that way for many years & many many miles & it seemed to love it. On those

occasions when I would head for somewhere closer to SeaLevel I would set it back to normal.

I had marks scribed into the Dist'Base so, for example, every year when I would go to Ill' &

Minn' to visit Family, somewhere in Kansas I would adjust for LowAlt' & then on my way back

I'd do the reset for 5K'. It makes a Very Noticeable Difference.
